I didn’t set out to be a financial planner. I set out to fix something that bothered me — the gap between what financial advice is supposed to do and what it actually does for most people in India.
The people around me were earning well, running businesses, building careers. They weren’t reckless. But most of them had products scattered everywhere with no plan tying any of it together. Nobody had ever asked them: what are you actually building?
The reason was simple: the system rewards selling, not planning. A product sale takes 20 minutes. A real plan takes 20 hours. I saw that playing out around me every day.
So in 2019, I started Happy2Invest with one rule: we build the plan first, and we only recommend products that serve it. Not once in 7 years have we deviated from that.
Today I hold the QPFP certification and was recognised by The Economic Times as one of India’s ET 40 Under 40 in 2025. But what I’m proudest of is simpler — 500+ clients across India and globally who have financial lives that actually work.

Happy2Invest Founded in Kolkata
Founded on one principle: build a complete financial plan first, recommend products only in service of that plan. First clients were working professionals in Kolkata — people who earned well but had no financial structure.
The BeginningExpanded to Business Owners
Recognised that business owners had unique, underserved needs — business-personal separation, profit extraction strategy, key-person protection. Developed a specialist approach for SME owners that no generalist advisor was offering.
AMFI Registration + NSE Goal Planner Certification
Formalised the credential framework — AMFI registered mutual fund distributor and NSE-certified Financial Goal Planner. Built the proprietary goal-mapping framework that underpins every plan we build today.
NRI Practice Launched
Began serving NRI clients across UAE, UK, Singapore, and USA — building specialist expertise in cross-border tax, FEMA compliance, repatriation strategy, and India-based investment planning for clients abroad.

Every client at Happy2Invest works directly with Lakshya Jayaswal — not a junior associate, not a relationship manager, not someone who got your file a week ago. If you engage us, you engage the founder. This is why we limit our client intake — depth of engagement is non-negotiable.
We Only Recommend What Serves Your Plan
Every product recommendation — investment, insurance, PMS — is made only after we've built your plan and identified a specific need. If something doesn't serve your goals, we won't recommend it regardless of the commission structure. Full stop.
Complete Transparency on Fees and Economics
